Affinity Hospice is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse - PRN to join their team in Alabaster, AL. The role involves providing direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse.
About the Role
As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will be responsible for following the plan of care, providing treatments, and collaborating with team members to achieve positive patient care outcomes. Your duties will include evaluating patient responses to treatment, documenting patient services, and providing education to patients and families.
About You
Required:
- Graduate of an accredited practical nurse or vocational nursing program.
- LPN/LVN licensure in state of practice.
- Current CPR certification.
- Demonstrates excellent observation, problem solving, verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred:
- Prior home health or hospice experience with a minimum of 1 year medical/surgical experience.
- Must be a licensed driver with an automobile that is insured and in good working order.
