About the Role
As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you will be responsible for delivering high-quality medical care to patients in a correctional facility. Your duties will include conducting medical screenings, monitoring vital signs, administering treatments, and documenting patient care. You will collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure compliance with regulations and provide patient education.
About You
Required:
- A current, valid state(s) Practical Nurse license.
- 1-3 years of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a correctional healthcare environment.
- Active CPR/BLS certificate required.
Preferred:
- Experience in roles that involve direct patient care or administrative support in a regulated environment.
- Strong understanding of healthcare regulations, policies, and procedures as they relate to the correctional setting.
