About the Role
As a Licensed Practical Nurse Ambulatory, you will be responsible for adhering to the Medical Assistant scope of practice, performing rooming tasks, assisting providers with procedures, conducting lab-related duties, administering medications and vaccines, and maintaining a clean work environment. You will also demonstrate effective communication and teamwork while ensuring patient safety and confidentiality.
About You
Required:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program or equivalent military training.
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification required.
Preferred:
- Experience as a Medical Assistant within the last 5 years.
- Certification from recognized medical assistant organizations such as AAMA or AMT.
