About the Role
As a Licensed Psychologist Manager, you will oversee the psychological services program, screen inmate needs for psychiatric and mental health services, perform diagnostic evaluations, conduct individual and group counseling, and develop treatment objectives. You will also supervise the development of new psychological services programs and manage counseling programs addressing social problems. This position requires effective communication and relationship-building with staff and inmates, as well as testifying as an expert witness in legal proceedings.
About You
Required:
- One year as a Licensed Psychologist MH or Psychologist in a relevant field.
- Possession of a valid license to practice psychology issued by the Pennsylvania State Board of Psychology or an equivalent license from another state.
Preferred:
- Experience in the treatment of inmates or individuals with mental illness, intellectual disabilities, or behavioral dysfunction.
- Successful completion of basic training in Elizabethtown, PA.
Benefits
- Full-time employment with a 37.5-hour work week.
- Work hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
