About You
- High School diploma or equivalent (GED) and minimum two years of security experience.
- Must have and maintain NYS Security License.
- A valid Driver’s License is required effective 1/1/2026.
- Prior security experience and some college credits.
- BLS certification through the American Heart Association must be completed within 90 days of hire.
- De-escalation and restraint training are required to be completed within the probationary period.

The Hospital is fully accredited by the Joint Commission and earned its recognition as a Top Performer for Key Quality Measures® in 2015 and 2013. The Hospital received Magnet® designation in 2012 and 2016 from the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). In 2014, 2016 and 2018, White Plains Hospital received the Outstanding Patient Experience Award from Healthgrades®, given to only 10% of hospitals nationwide.
