Bond Vet is seeking a Licensed Veterinary Technician to join their team in East Village, New York. The role involves providing routine and urgent care for pets, participating in surgeries, and educating pet owners.
About the Role
As a Licensed Veterinary Technician, you will focus on patient care with support from veterinary assistants. Your responsibilities will include patient handling, client education, surgical and dental nursing, record keeping, diagnostic management, medication administration, and emergency response. You will work alongside veterinarians and attend educational events to enhance your skills and knowledge.
About You
Required:
- 1+ years experience as a veterinary technician.
- A veterinary technician certification or licensure (CVT, RVT, LVT, or LVMT).
Preferred:
- Newly licensed technicians are encouraged to apply.
