Summary
VitalCaring Group is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse - Home Health - PRN to join their team in Georgetown, TX. The role involves providing direct, compassionate nursing care to hospice patients under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
About the Role
As a Licensed Vocational Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering patient care in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act, implementing nursing practices, assessing and educating patients and their families, and ensuring effective communication and coordination of care. You will also participate in personal and professional development and contribute to quality assessment activities.
About You
Required:
- Graduate of an accredited practical nursing or vocational nursing program.
- Current state LPN/LVN licensure.
- Current CPR certification.
Preferred:
- Minimum of three years of nursing experience, preferably in home health, community-based, or medical-surgical settings.
- Demonstrated adherence to professional nursing standards and practices.
