About the Role
As a Licensed Vocational Nurse, you will be responsible for assessing health needs, administering medications, and providing skilled nursing treatments. You will also participate in planning daily projects, educate staff, and ensure compliance with health regulations. Your role includes monitoring health-related issues, documenting findings, and communicating with healthcare professionals.
About You
Required:
- Graduate of an approved Licensed Practical Nursing Program.
- Minimum of one (1) year clinically relevant experience, preferably with elderly or intellectually disabled individuals.
- Knowledge of medical nursing procedures, first aid, and basic principles of nursing.
Preferred:
- Experience with intellectual and developmental disabilities, seizure disorders, and autism.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Office applications.
- Aptitude to learn other software programs as required for this position.
