Sequoia Living is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) for multiple shifts in San Francisco, CA. The role involves providing direct and indirect resident care services to ensure the safety, comfort, and hygiene of residents.
About the Role
As a Licensed Vocational Nurse, you will administer medications and treatments, respond to emergencies, direct Certified Nursing Assistants, maintain medical records, provide direct care, and assist in planning resident care activities. You will also participate in the interdisciplinary team and function as the shift Charge Nurse as assigned.
About You
Required:
- Current valid California LVN license and Basic Life Support certification.
- Knowledge of nursing theory and practice, with sensitivity to issues related to aging.
Preferred:
- Previous gerontological nursing experience.
- Ability to supervise CNAs in the absence of an RN or Nurse Manager.
