National Youth Advocate Program (NYAP) is seeking a Licensing Coordinator to join their team in Fort Wayne, IN. The role involves recruiting, licensing, and retaining quality foster homes to support children and families.
About the Role
As a Licensing Coordinator, you will work under the supervision of the Regional Manager to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and families. Your responsibilities will include developing recruitment strategies for foster homes, supporting potential foster parents, ensuring compliance with foster care regulations, and providing ongoing training and support to licensed homes. You will also conduct home studies, maintain records, and participate in quality improvement activities.
About You
Required:
- Degree in Social Work or comparable Human Services field from an accredited institution.
- Must have a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, automotive insurance, and a good driving record.
Preferred:
- 2 years of work experience working in direct service with youth and families.
- Having a current and valid SAFE Home certification.
- RAPT training.
- Safe HS writing experience.
