Summary
V2X Inc is seeking a Life Cycle Engineer II to join their team in Orlando, FL. The role involves performing life cycle analysis to support the sustainment of training aids, devices, simulators, and simulations.
About the Role
As a Life Cycle Engineer II, you will be responsible for conducting Reliability, Availability, and Maintainability (RAM) modeling, tracking parts consumption and maintenance trends, implementing Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages (DMSMS) programs, and performing Failure Reporting, Analysis, and Corrective Action System (FRACAS) for fielded systems. You will work within a multi-discipline team to ensure the continued functionality of customer training systems, with potential travel to customer locations up to 25% of the time.
About You
Required:
- Minimum of 5 years of engineering experience.
- U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work within a team environment.
- Experience performing technical studies and engineering data analysis.
Preferred:
- Strong written, verbal and presentation skills.
- Experience performing life-cycle sustainment and cost optimization, trade-studies, and/or competing hardware design and cost-benefit analysis.
- Experience performing reliability engineering including design, modeling and prediction in accordance with DoD or equivalent industry standards.
- Familiarity with reliability engineering handbooks and standards.
- Experience with ReliaSoft or equivalent reliability modeling tool.
- Experience working with very large, complex systems.
- Experience implementing and tracking DMSMS and obsolescence programs.
- Experience with FRACAS in accordance with industry standards.
- Highly skilled in statistical theory and modeling.
