About the Role
As the Life Enrichment Director, you will be responsible for creating, organizing, and overseeing a wide variety of activities that foster social connection, wellness, and joy within the community. You will lead a team of Life Enrichment staff, coordinate activities with other departments, and ensure that residents receive a balance of life enrichment activities designed to maintain and promote their physical and psychosocial wellbeing.
About You
Required:
- Proven experience in senior living, assisted living, memory care, recreation, hospitality, or a related field.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Creativity in designing a vibrant, enriching activities calendar.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- A genuine passion for working with older adults.
Preferred:
- Degree from an accredited College/University in Therapeutic Recreation, Gerontology, or Recreation Management.
- Licensed or Registered Therapeutic Recreation Therapist or eligible for a Therapeutic Recreation Specialist Certification.
- Two or more years of social or recreational program management experience in a health care setting.
