About the Role
As a Life Safety Systems Technician, you will be responsible for supporting the operation and monitoring of life safety systems, coordinating inspections and maintenance with vendors, interpreting and applying regulatory requirements, leading design efforts, and conducting hazard assessments. You will also assist with audits and documentation required for life safety operations.
About You
Required:
- GED/High School Diploma required.
- Ability to interpret and apply regulatory requirements (federal/state/local codes).
- Strong analytical, organizational and written communication skills.
Preferred:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety & Health, Fire Protection, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in life safety, fire protection systems, industrial, semiconductor or mission-critical environments.
- Proven ability to lead design efforts and coordinate maintenance activities.
