As a Life Skills Instructor for Corrections Education, you will be responsible for developing and implementing individualized plans of instruction, providing learning support, maintaining student records, and adhering to institutional security and safety requirements. You will also be required to communicate effectively with students and staff, and report any issues to the Educational Director.
About You
Required:
- Possess a Pennsylvania Certificate for Instructional I or II, Social Studies, English or Related Certification.
- Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing in English.
- Ability to lift and carry 50 pound items.
Preferred:
- Experience in Special Education and Correctional Education.
