About the Role
As a Lifeguard, you will assist in maintaining a safe environment, observe swimmers, enforce pool rules, perform rescues, and administer first aid as needed. You will also help implement swim lessons and supervise campers, while collaborating with other staff and participating in professional development opportunities.
About You
Required:
- Must be 18+ years of age
- Experience as a Lifeguard required
- Current American Red Cross Lifeguarding, CPR, and First Aid certifications
- Knowledge of youth development principles
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills required
- Ability to work with youth and families from a variety of backgrounds
- Ability to work independently and as a part of a team
Preferred:
- LGI (Lifeguard Instructor), WSI (Water Safety Instructor) and CPO (Certified Pool Operator) certifications
- Experience supervising or supporting other guards
