Summary
Trueline is seeking a Litigation Attorney - SM to join their team in West Los Angeles. The role involves handling high exposure civil litigation matters, including product liability and premises liability, in a hybrid work setting.
About the Role
As the Associate Attorney, Civil Litigation, you will assist in defending complex cases, draft legal documents, manage written discovery, take and defend depositions, and collaborate with supervising partners in case management and trial preparation. You will own projects proactively and contribute to client delivery in a team-oriented environment.
About You
Required:
- Active California bar license
- At least 3 years of civil defense litigation experience including drafting, motion practice, written discovery, depositions, and trial preparation
- Strong legal research, writing, and advocacy abilities
- Excellent multitasking skills and ability to meet deadlines
- Confident interpersonal and presentation skills
- Consistent record of high quality, proactive work
Preferred:
- Prior exposure to or interest in high stakes litigation in product liability, premises liability, or wrongful death
- Trial participation experience or eagerness to take on trial responsibilities
- Business development or client origination interest or experience
