FSA is seeking a Litigation Financial Analyst to support the US Attorney's Office in Charleston, WV. The role involves assisting the legal team in tracing and analyzing financial records related to criminal investigations.
About the Role
As a Litigation Financial Analyst, you will assist the legal team by tracing, reviewing, and analyzing financial records from investigations to determine the source and delivery of funds. You will help prepare for court proceedings by developing legal theories for forfeiture and preparing exhibits, charts, and abstracts of financial evidence. Additional duties may be assigned as needed.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field; CPA certification preferred.
- Three years of accounting, finance, or related experience.
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills, and ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication skills; oral and written.
- Intermediate experience with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Proven commitment to providing excellent customer service.
Preferred:
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to work in a team environment and maintain professionalism under pressure.
