Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Registered Nurse - Float Pool - Per Diem Days to join their team in Manahawkin, NJ. The role involves delivering individualized patient care and collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
About the Role
As a Registered Nurse in the Float Pool, you will be responsible for providing safe and excellent nursing care based on evidence-based practices. Your daily tasks will include administering medications, documenting patient assessments and care plans, educating patients and families, and ensuring safe transitions of care. You will work closely with other healthcare professionals to communicate patient status and treatment plans.
About You
Required:
- Current and valid New Jersey Registered Nurse license.
- BLS/CPR and ACLS certification by American Heart Association.
- Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience.
Preferred:
- Critical Care, Stepdown, or ED experience.
- Telemetry certification.
- National Certification.
- BSN in progress or willingness to acquire within three years of hire.
