About the Role
As a Loan Officer, you will greet members, handle inquiries about credit union services, and maintain confidentiality. You will interview members to collect information for loan decisions, review credit reports and loan documents, and communicate loan decisions clearly. Additionally, you will manage loan documentation, audit loan portfolios, and stay updated on compliance and market trends.
About You
Required:
- High school diploma required; some college preferred.
- 5+ years of lending experience in a financial institution.
- Deep knowledge of loan products.
- NMLS certification required or ability to obtain within 60 days.
Preferred:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask.
- Professional under pressure and with diverse groups.
- Strong math and analytical skills.
