About the Role
As a Loan Processor I, you will be responsible for preparing and gathering supporting information for loan applications, generating closing documentation, reviewing supporting documentation for indirect loans, contacting members and dealers for additional information, funding and disbursing loans, and collaborating with branch staff and underwriters to provide excellent member service. You will also track lien information and back up other departmental staff as necessary.
About You
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalency certification.
- Knowledge of loan application, approval, and processing procedures.
- Registry with Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) or must be obtained within 6 months of employment.
Preferred:
- Associates degree.
- One (1) to two (2) years of loan processing or general lending experience.
- Knowledge of credit union loan policies and relevant regulations.
