About the Role
As a Locksmith Journey, you will work under the supervision of the Building/Grounds Superintendent to install, repair, and maintain mechanical and electronic locks and access control systems. You will also perform inspections, adjustments, and minor repairs to buildings and grounds, ensuring compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and fire safety codes.
About You
Required:
- Journeyman certification and/or higher education as a locksmith.
Preferred:
- Experience maintaining inventory.
- Experience with panic bars.
- Experience using computers and computerized key management systems.
- Experience replacing, re-pining, and opening locks in both traditional and electronic locking systems.
Benefits
- Flexible part-time position with the option to pick up additional hours.
- Starting wage of $20.55 per hour with additional compensation for nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime.
