About the Role
As a Locum Tenens Nurse Practitioner in Cardiovascular/Cardiothoracic Surgery, you will be responsible for managing 1-2 cases per day with a total of 5-15 patients, including ICU and step-down care. You will work a guaranteed 40-hour schedule, with options for 5 x 8-hour shifts or 4 x 10-hour shifts. The role includes a call schedule of 1:3 with weekend rounding during call only, prioritizing OR scheduling over floor rounding when cases are available. You will handle various surgical cases including CABG, valve procedures, aneurysms, and thoracic surgeries, as well as emergency cases such as dissections and urgent CABG.
About You
Required:
- ACNP certification with cardiovascular surgery experience.
