About the Role
As a Long Term Substitute Teacher, you will be responsible for implementing developmentally appropriate curriculum, supervising classroom activities, collaborating with parents, and maintaining confidentiality regarding children and families. You will also participate in training, document children's progress, and ensure compliance with Head Start Performance Standards and other regulations.
About You
Required:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Completion of Infant/Toddler CDA certification within 6 months of employment.
- Obtain and maintain First Aid and CPR certifications.
Preferred:
- 2 years of related experience in an Early Head Start preschool classroom setting.
- Bilingual (Spanish) skills.
