About the Role
As a Loss Mitigation Specialist, you will ensure compliance with legal and regulatory responsibilities, process account closures, loan modifications, and charge-off transactions, and manage bankruptcy notifications. You will also handle insurance claims, maintain spreadsheets, and assist with collection activities as needed.
About You
Required:
- One to three years of experience in Credit Reporting, Collections, Customer Service, or Loss Mitigation.
- Minimum of a high school education or GED.
- Strong organizational abilities.
- Knowledge of Excel software.
- Excellent communication skills.
Preferred:
- Ability to multi-task.
- Ability to negotiate with a high degree of tact and build trust.
