About the Role
As an LPN in the Behavioral Health Unit, you will perform general nursing care, assist with medical procedures, collect patient assessment data, order diagnostic tests, schedule procedures, and may administer medications and collect laboratory specimens. You will also be required to round on medical units as part of your responsibilities.
About You
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current state licensure as an LPN or LVN or current multi-state licensure through the enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC).
- CPR certification from the American Heart Association.
- Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance Certificate.
- Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance Certificate.
- Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting Criminal Background Clearance Certificate.
Preferred:
- 0-1 year of healthcare experience.
- State approved IV course certification.
- Knowledge of OASIS documentation and assessment process.
- PALS or ACLS certification may be required based on the specific area of practice.
