About the Role
As the Director of Facilities Management, you will be responsible for the overall planning, direction, and oversight of facility operations. This includes ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, managing a team of maintenance and environmental services staff, and collaborating on long-term planning and infrastructure upgrades. You will also oversee daily operations of building systems and maintain facility documentation.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- Minimum of 5–7 years of progressive experience in facilities management, preferably in a healthcare or senior living setting.
- Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and safety systems.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Preferred:
- Related certifications or licensures.
- Experience with facility management software and Microsoft Office/365.
- Demonstrated leadership and team-building skills.
