ResCare Community Living is seeking a LVN / LPN to join their team in San Diego, CA. The role involves providing routine care and general observation of clients' health status under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
About the Role
As a LVN / LPN, you will be responsible for communicating health needs to the RN supervisor, coordinating admissions and discharges, assisting in medical appointments, administering medications, and ensuring accurate documentation of health status and care services. You will also provide supervision and education for non-licensed staff and participate in quality improvement activities.
About You
Required:
- Must be a Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse (LPN or LVN) in good standing.
- CPR certification.
- At least 6 months of direct nursing experience.
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of personnel.
Preferred:
- Experience in providing services to individuals with developmental disabilities.
- Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
- Ability to use a computer for documentation.
