About the Role
As a Medical Assistant, you will work closely with a busy family practice provider, support other family medicine providers, and assist a team of MAs and RNs. Your responsibilities will include administering immunizations, assisting with minor procedures, completing tasks in the task inbox, and potentially cross-training in Urgent Care. The clinic environment is friendly, welcoming, and focused on providing quality care to patients and their families.
About You
Required:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required at hire.
- MA certification required within 90 days of hire from an approved agency.
- Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers certification required at hire.
Preferred:
- 1 year of MA experience or current MA certification.
- Completion of a 100-hour MA externship or 6 months MA experience in lieu of externship.
