About the Role
As a Medical Assistant, you will be responsible for welcoming and rooming patients, reviewing medical histories, performing blood draws, injections, and EKGs, and managing patient communications through EPIC. You will work in a primary care setting with office hours from Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
About You
Required:
- High school diploma or GED with 1-2 years of medical experience, or a Bachelor's or Associate's degree in a science/health field.
- Current BLS/CPR certification.
Preferred:
- Completion of a medical assistant program.
- Nationally recognized Medical Assistant Certification or Registration.
- One to two years of medical assisting experience.
