Zoox is seeking a Machine Learning Engineer - Generative AI to join their Perception team in Foster City, CA. The role involves developing and training models for synthetic data generation to enhance the capabilities of Zoox's autonomous systems.
About the Role
As a Machine Learning Engineer - Generative AI, you will define and execute the ML roadmap for synthetic data generation, lead the development of generative models, design effective model architectures, collaborate with various teams, and validate solutions using real-world scenarios.
About You
Required:
- MS or PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or related technical field with 3+ years of industry experience.
- Demonstrated experience architecting, training and deploying large models such as diffusion, flow matching, GANs and/or NeRFs.
- Experience building and maintaining ML training pipelines, including data preprocessing, model training, and evaluation.
- Proficiency in Python and ML libraries (PyTorch, NumPy).
- Experience training with large scale datasets (e.g. tens of millions of videos).
Preferred:
- Publications in top-tier conferences (CVPR, ICCV, RSS, ICRA).
- Experience with autonomous robotics systems.
- Experience implementing 4D Gaussian Splatting.
