Cognitiv is seeking a Machine Learning Engineer, Features to join their Features Generation team in Bellevue, WA. The role involves designing, developing, and deploying intelligent feature pipelines for data science and machine learning systems.
About the Role
As a Machine Learning Engineer, you will collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and product stakeholders to create high-quality, reusable features that enhance model performance and optimize campaigns. Your responsibilities include designing and prototyping new features, building engineering systems to generate features in production, and monitoring the health of these systems.
About You
Required:
- 3+ years experience as a Machine Learning Engineer or similar role.
- Experience collaborating closely with Data and Research Scientists.
- Expert proficiency in programming languages such as Python and Java.
- Expert proficiency in SQL.
- Expert experience with big data (terabyte-scale or larger).
- Experience with orchestration frameworks like Airflow.
- Experience within the Python Data Science ecosystem (NumPy, SciPy, scikit-learn, Jupyter, etc.).
- Experience maintaining always-on services.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS.
Preferred:
- Experience with one or more Deep Learning frameworks (e.g. PyTorch).
- Experience using machine learning to create embeddings from raw data.
- Experience with streaming data technologies (e.g. Kafka, RedPanda, Flink).
