About the Role
As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for reviewing setup sheets and specifications, aligning and securing parts, inspecting and maintaining machines, and performing necessary repairs. You will also keep logs of daily operations and ensure a safe and clean work environment while collaborating with team members.
About You
Required:
- 3+ years of experience operating numerical controlled machines in machine shops or programming automated machine systems.
- Basic knowledge of machines and equipment, including welding processes and engineered drawings.
Preferred:
- Knowledge of shipbuilding methods and equipment.
- Experience with milling, burning, welding, forming, bending, or stamping.
