Victrex is seeking a Machine Operator for the 2nd Shift at their manufacturing site in Bristol, Rhode Island. The role involves operating multiple processing equipment to meet production standards.
About the Role
As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for setting up, starting, operating, and troubleshooting processing equipment. Your tasks will include mounting tools, preparing raw materials, ensuring quality and safety standards, and performing first line maintenance. You will work the second shift from 3pm to 11:30pm, with training during the day for several weeks.
About You
Required:
- Ability to prioritize and coordinate multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
- Good mechanical aptitude and excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
- Experience in a manufacturing environment and knowledge of safety and continuous improvement methods.
Preferred:
- Demonstrable experience in operating processing equipment.
- Familiarity with best practice safety protocols.
