Summary
MCC Label is seeking a Machine Operator for 2nd & 3rd shift to join their team in Knoxville, TN. The role involves operating machinery to produce premium labels while ensuring quality and efficiency.
About the Role
As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for checking print and seam quality, removing defective materials, and splicing roll webs. You will utilize various tools during the splicing procedure and handle rolls carefully to prevent damage. Additionally, you will record data in the company operation system and participate in special projects as assigned.
About You
Required:
- Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations for label counts and conversions.
- Ability to use simple Windows-based applications.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds.
Preferred:
- Experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with printing processes and seam defects.
