About the Role
As a Machine Operator I, you will be responsible for setting up and operating automatic or semiautomatic machines, monitoring production processes, performing quality checks, and assisting with maintenance. You will work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring safety and compliance with operational guidelines while maintaining effective communication with team members.
About You
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent, preferred.
- Ability to follow written directions for proper changeover procedures.
- General sheet metal knowledge.
- Some knowledge and experience in Quality Assurance.
- Attention to detail.
- Good math skills to interpret drawings and specifications.
- Ability to lift and/or move heavy objects/components, frequently up to 25lbs and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to work in repetitive motions and pressure involving fingers, hands, and wrists.
- Must have demonstrated ability to communicate (speak, read, write) in English.
- Able to work independently and with others.
- Wear safety gear at all times.
- Must be able to work overtime.
Preferred:
- Forklift operations.
