About the Role
As a Machine Operator I, you will be responsible for operating various production machines, including lathes, mills, and grinders, to produce components according to specifications. You will support a culture of safety and quality, participate in training initiatives, and ensure the quality of finished products using measurement tools. The position requires logging production data and following routing instructions to deliver finished parts to the next department.
About You
Required:
- 0-1 years of prior machine operator/manufacturing experience or equivalent classroom experience.
- Basic understanding of measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers) or strong math skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to follow precise written instructions and procedures.
- Willingness to learn and work independently.
Preferred:
- Experience working with computers, especially Visual.
- Ability to work under pressure of deadlines.
