About the Role
As a Senior Machine Tool Electrician, you will be responsible for the layout and wiring of electrical components used on tooling for individual projects. Key responsibilities include serving as a specialist on the layout and routing of electrical components, ensuring tasks are executed effectively, diagnosing electrical problems, marking up engineering drawings, and adhering to company policies and safety standards.
About You
Required:
- Electrician Journeyman Card or 8+ years electrical experience in a machine tool shop.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and successfully layout equipment according to prints.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
Preferred:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Experience with programming or troubleshooting PLC code.
- Knowledge of welding and automated welding systems.
- Knowledge of Electrical Standards, tooling assembly & setup.
