About the Role
As a Machinist, you will be responsible for inspecting and setting up machines, changing fixtures, placing parts into machines, setting dials and programs, monitoring the machines, and inspecting finished parts for errors. You will also be required to repeat these processes across different machines and perform other duties as assigned by your supervisor.
About You
Required:
- Diploma or AAS degree in the machine trades.
- Minimum of two years of relevant machining experience.
- Strong mechanical and technical abilities/experience.
- Ability to edit programs and set up multiple styles of machines.
- Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office, typing, and internet navigation.
Preferred:
- Experience with G/M Code, CAD/CAM, Machinist Math, GD&T, and inspection methods.
- Demonstrated success using technical math skills such as Algebra, Geometry, and Trigonometry.
- Ability to read technical data such as blueprints and routings.
Benefits
- Competitive pay scale ranging from $28.29 to $35.68 per hour, depending on qualifications.
- Shift premium of $1.00 per hour.
