About the Role
As a Machinist, Engine Lathe, you will be responsible for setting up and operating engine lathes, pullbores, and other machines. Your tasks will include determining setups for precision machining, selecting appropriate speeds and feeds, and ensuring high-quality output. You will also assist in tooling development and perform machine clean-outs as necessary.
About You
Required:
- Able to work from blueprints and specifications.
- Solid shop math background.
- Experience with a variety of precision measuring instruments.
- General knowledge of machining practices and setups.
- 1-3 years machining experience.
- Familiar with the use of crane and other lifting devices.
- Able to lift and carry 50 lbs.
