About the Role
As a Senior Tooling Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring that all tooling is designed, built, sampled, and approved in compliance with Magna, customer, regulatory, and safety standards. You will collaborate with various teams to develop and validate new tooling processes, manage tool builds, and ensure robust manufacturability and flawless launch execution.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field highly preferred.
- 8+ years of experience in tooling, plastics, or program engineering within a manufacturing environment.
- Advanced knowledge of injection mold design, polymer behavior, and manufacturing processes.
- Expert understanding of glass handling and fixturing, polymer-to-glass adhesion mechanisms.
Preferred:
- Proven experience leading complex, multi-tool programs.
- Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
- Bilingual (Spanish) preferred.
