About the Role
As a Mail Room Clerk, you will be responsible for processing, sorting, binding, logging, and delivering mail. Your tasks will include preparing mail packages for shipment, maintaining mailroom supply inventories, operating mailroom equipment, and ensuring the safeguarding of sensitive information. You will also interact with shipping and receiving vendors and perform various administrative duties as assigned.
About You
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent GED required.
- 0-2 years of experience in the field or related area.
- High level of attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
Preferred:
- Experience with basic office hardware such as scanners, fax machines, and copiers.
- Ability to carry up to 20 pounds.
- Demonstrate a strong work ethic and dependability.
