About the Role
As a Mainframe Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing robust architecture solutions tailored to the Transportation and Logistics domain. Your daily tasks will include collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify system requirements, optimizing database performance, developing JCL scripts for process automation, and applying Cobol programming skills to support logistics operations. You will also leverage IBM Mainframe Utilities to manage system resources effectively and conduct thorough analyses of logistics processes to identify areas for improvement.
About You
Required:
- 6-15 years of experience in mainframe architecture.
- Proficiency in COBOL, JCL, DB2, ALCS, and CICS.
Preferred:
- Experience in the Transportation and Logistics domain.
- Strong analytical skills to identify areas for improvement in logistics processes.
