About the Role
As a Maintenance - Refrigeration Technician, you will be responsible for performing mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and basic electrical maintenance on production equipment. Your core responsibilities will include troubleshooting and repairing food processing equipment, performing preventative maintenance tasks, assisting with monitoring ammonia refrigeration systems, and ensuring compliance with safety and food safety standards.
About You
Required:
- High school diploma or GED and 1+ years of related experience in industrial mechanical maintenance or food manufacturing; or 4 years of direct experience in the same field.
- Ability to operate a forklift, genie lift, or scissor lift.
- Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals, schematics, and maintenance documentation.
Preferred:
- Vocational Diploma, Technical Diploma, or associate’s degree from a technical maintenance or vocational school.
- Experience in troubleshooting refrigeration or utility-related equipment issues.
