As a Maintenance Electrician, you will work closely with operations and maintenance teammates to ensure safety and reliability of electrical systems. You will be responsible for both scheduled and unscheduled overtime, demonstrating Nucor's core values while focusing on safety, equipment reliability, cost control, and continuous improvement.
About You
Required:
- Basic computer skills with Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel, and Word.
- Electrical knowledge for motors and motor controls.
- Hands-on experience with Allen Bradley PLC technologies and ladder logic.
- Hands-on experience with AC/DC drives technologies.
Preferred:
- Four-year technical degree or equivalent experience.
- 3-5 years industrial experience in a manufacturing facility.
- Extensive AC/DC drive experience.
- Hands-on experience with HMI technologies.
- PLC system building, programming, and troubleshooting experience.
- Mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic experience.
- AutoCAD proficiency.
- Strong technical skills.
