Northwest Healthcare Tucson is seeking a Maintenance Engineer II to join their team in Tucson, AZ. The role involves performing general maintenance and repairs in all hospital buildings, ensuring functionality, safety, and compliance of healthcare facility systems and equipment.
About the Role
As a Maintenance Engineer II, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, as well as hospital-specific equipment. You will respond to urgent repair requests, perform regular inspections, and maintain accurate records of maintenance activities. This position may also involve supervising entry-level engineers and participating in a rotating on-call roster.
About You
Required:
2-4 years of experience in facilities maintenance, engineering, or related roles required.
Strong knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, medical gas systems).
Valid Driver License required.
Preferred:
Associate Degree or formal training in facility maintenance, mechanical systems, or a related field preferred.
3-5 years of experience in facilities maintenance, engineering, or related roles in a hospital or healthcare setting preferred.
Licensed Steam Boiler and Refrigeration within the first six (6) months of employment if applicable by state required.
