About the Role
As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing repairs and servicing of HVAC systems, basic electrical work, plumbing, carpentry, and flooring. You will also handle tasks such as repairing toilets, sinks, faucets, drywall, and painting. The position requires mechanical knowledge of electric motors, hydronic pumps, and door locking hardware.
About You
Required:
- High school education or equivalent (GED) required.
- Five years’ journeyman experience in mechanical, electrical, HVAC, refrigeration, equipment repair, and welding maintenance fields preferred.
Preferred:
- Specialized training of one to four years, and apprenticeship of trade school courses with certificates in related areas.
- Certificate in blueprint reading, schematic reading, basic electricity, troubleshooting and testing of control circuits.
