About the Role

As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be responsible for completing work orders related to machine repairs, conducting system testing and calibration, and maintaining all facets of injection molding machines or automation systems. You will work independently on moderately complex tasks and coordinate with engineers and technicians to ensure optimal performance of production equipment.

About You

Required:

High School diploma or GED equivalent required; Associate's degree preferred.
Experience in mid to large size production facilities involving plastic injection molding, assembly, and/or automation repair required.
Technical expertise in electronics, mechanics, pneumatics, and automation systems (mechatronic background), including PLC troubleshooting and repair.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills to quickly diagnose and resolve system malfunctions.
Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and software, and ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.

Preferred:

Knowledge of auxiliary equipment - hydraulics, mold temperature controllers, hot runner controllers, sprue pickers, robots, and mold setup.
Experience with preventive maintenance programs to reduce downtime.
Strong communication skills to coordinate with engineers, technicians, and other team members.
