About the Role
As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing precision mechanical equipment used in electronic assembly. Your tasks will include diagnosing mechanical failures, collaborating with engineering and production teams, implementing maintenance programs, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, documenting maintenance work, and supporting training of operators and junior staff.
About You
Required:
- Minimum of 5 years’ mechanical maintenance experience, preferably in electronic manufacturing.
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems relevant to electronic assembly equipment.
- Ability to interpret mechanical drawings, equipment manuals, and technical specifications.
- Skilled at diagnosing and repairing complex mechanical issues.
- Commitment to following safety, cleanroom, and ESD standards.
Preferred:
- Certifications related to Industrial Maintenance, Electronics Manufacturing Technology, or Precision Mechanical Systems.
- Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) in a cleanroom or ESD-sensitive environment.
- Familiarity with basic electrical troubleshooting and PLC programming.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement practices.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a cross-functional team.
