Summary
IPG is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to join their team in Everetts, NC. The role involves troubleshooting, repairing, and performing preventative maintenance on electrical drives, controls, and mechanical systems.
About the Role
As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing electrical and mechanical issues, performing preventative maintenance, and ensuring safe work practices. Your daily tasks will include calibrating PID loops, building control panels, training apprentice technicians, and maintaining equipment inventories. You will also document maintenance activities and participate in safety audits.
About You
Required:
- High school diploma and 5 years of industrial experience.
- Demonstrated comprehension and communication skills to read and follow detailed production specifications.
Preferred:
- Two-year Technical degree in Electrical or Electro-Mechanical sciences and 1-3 years of industrial experience.
- Experience with troubleshooting and repairing AC/DC drives, PLC's, and industrial controls.
