Flex-N-Gate is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to join their team in Grand Prairie, TX. The role involves performing maintenance and repair operations to keep plant equipment and machinery in good operating condition.
About the Role
As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing problems, performing general maintenance, and ensuring the efficient operation of plant equipment. Your daily tasks will include executing planned maintenance, participating in team meetings, and communicating effectively with the plant team and external contractors.
About You
Required:
- At least one year of technical school or equivalent experience.
- Ability to read, write and speak English effectively along with basic mathematical skills.
- Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical systems, and electronic controls.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
Preferred:
- Previous experience in a maintenance position utilizing mechanical and electrical skills.
- PLC programming or troubleshooting experience.
